Hello I am Teacher Portia!

I have studied psychology back at University and wanted to pursue my career in the field of education since then.

Therefore, I have started to engage in teaching and different children-related working experiences for the past 8 years. Since education is not just about learning in a sole area, all the areas are interrelated and have to be taken care of.

With my past experiences, I believe that all children can be taught and shaped into a better version of themselves with the right education and under an enjoyable environment. Thus, it has always been my aim to create a fun atmosphere and provide sufficient guidance, to allow my students to process and learn freely within the boundaries. I am confident and delighted to say that there are significant progresses on all my students over time!

Hello, I am Teacher Amanda!

I have been sure that I am going to work for kids since I was a teen. With a few years of experience in Psychology and Child Development field, I get to meet and educate children from different backgrounds. These experiences assured my passion and motivation to become a kids’ worker.

Education is essential and critical to young age children, not only passing on knowledge but also teaching values, attitude and skills. I believe that children have unlimited potentials to learn, but it is more important that we could explore their possibilities and  provide them with the most suitable education.

Learning should be a fun, attractive, and entertaining process that empowers children. Seeing them enjoying their learning would be the most satisfying moment at work.

Hello, I’m teacher Vivian.

I have always had a passion to work in the educational sector. The importance of an opening opportunity later on in life and being the caring person I am, I think everyone should have a right to that.

My role as a teacher is to try and inspire children and help them thrive when it comes to learning. I had studied in the United Kingdom for 6 years. Returned to Hong Kong with a greater passion and knowing what my goals in life are. I've been teaching for the past 6 years and feel I have also continued to grow as a teacher for the benefit of my pupils.

Not every pupil is the same and sometimes it takes a wise head to take on board a pupil's needs and then to get it across to them in a way that they can digest it. It makes pupils enjoy themselves and want to do more, which is how you truly learn something. Progression is the driving factor but the true reward for me is knowing that the pupil is going to make use of and benefit themselves from what I have taught them for the rest of their life.

Hello, everyone! My name is Miss Mariyam, but you can call me Miss Mary.

I recently completed my education in Psychology, which has been a fascinating journey of understanding the complexities of the human mind and behavior.

During my studies, I discovered a particular passion for working with children and witnessing their growth and development. It was through this realization that I found my true calling. I believe that every child deserves a nurturing and supportive environment to flourish, and I am dedicated to creating that space for them.

Teaching is not just a profession for me, it is a genuine passion. I am committed to empowering and inspiring my students, helping them discover their unique strengths and abilities. I firmly believe that education is the key to unlocking endless possibilities, and I am excited to embark on this journey with all of you.

Hiya, I'm teacher Crystal!

As an educator with a background in studying in the United Kingdom for 7 years, I have been profoundly influenced by this experience. So, ever since teaching 2 years ago, my primary goal has been to instil confidence in my students' English language proficiency and cultivate a genuine enjoyment of the subject.

My teaching experiences include diverse educational settings, ranging from 18 months to 12 years old. I firmly believe that effective communication with students and their parents is crucial in facilitating early childhood learning. A strong foundation and a happy learning environment allow the children to enjoy whatever they learn.

Recently, I've furthered my professional development by completing the TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) course. This course has equipped me with additional tools and strategies to cater to the varying needs of my students effectively.

Hello, I am Teacher Sylvia!

I am an English major at the University of Hong Kong. As I delve into the field of English literature and linguistics in university, I realise the fun of enriching oneself through a second language. It is the most fulfilling thing to be able to acquire a new language and try to master it, and children’s early education truly sets the tone for their second language acquisition. I wish to be able to help young students to immerse themselves into a new language without fear, and to be able to enjoy their progress and trials and errors.

Through my experiences in English education, I have discovered my passion for helping students learn. I believe that education is a powerful tool that could even change the trajectory of one’s life.

The path to learning English could be challenging and fun, and it would be my honour to pave the way for a smoother sailing journey.
