What makes MOS different?
The MOS teaching approach is broad and detailed, with high expectations for students. In return, the quality of learning and problem solving skills are significantly enhanced over time. Most students graduating from MOS have successfully entered prestigious schools and become leaders of their groups.
1
Highly Structured Class Placement System
Through a thorough admission assessment combined with psychological insights and a unique class placement system, our small class teaching provides efficiency in learning which is comparable to one-on-one class model.
2
Small Class Sizes
Despite the amount of students in our waiting list, MOS ensures that no class exceeds four students, so as to maintain a constant high teaching quality.
3
Bilingual Teaching
Unlike typical education centers, MOS teachers are bilingual, can fluently communicate in both English and Chinese. This aids in effectively imparting knowledge and explanation of concepts to young children and communicating with parents.
4
Teacher Qualifications
All MOS teachers hold at least a bachelor's degree, with backgrounds in Psychology, Linguistics, English or Bilingual Studies, Early Childhood Education, or related fields. These professional backgrounds ensure their expertise and profundity in teaching.
5
Strict Teacher Training and Assessment
All MOS teachers have undergone a minimum of 180 hours (at least four weeks) of training to master the exclusive MOS teaching methods and materials. They must pass at least three assessments before teaching at any branches.
6
Consistency in Materials and Teaching Methods
With MOS's particular teaching methods and materials, we guarantee great quality and efficient learning, ideal for parents who seek high educational standards for their children. This consistency is key to our strong reputation and continuous student enrollment.
7
Focus on Logical Thinking and Concentration
Classes often use guided and open-ended questions to cultivate the habit of critical thinking in students and develop problem-solving skills, rather than providing answers directly to students. The high level of focus and engagement required in class also enhance children's concentration and efficiency in handling tasks independently.
